• Maryellen Gates, Consultant & Facilitator Facilitation and Consulting Partner, Kreative Learning Solutions Maryellen Gates, training and development consultant, specializes in providing timely and relevant management development workshops to business executives. Her workshops are designed to meet the client's specific business goals and bring immediate results. Some of the types of workshops she offers include: Supervisory Boot Camp, Customer Service Excellence, Interviewing Skills, Time Management, Effective Business Meeting Skills and Understanding Your Communication Style. Maryellen has over 15 years of experience in designing and facilitating global training programs to business executives. Most recently, Maryellen was Director of Global Training and Development at Interactive Data. Maryellen has her Masters in Training and Development from Lesley College. She is a member of ASTD (Massachusetts Chapter), NEHRA, and American Management Association. • Kyle J. Pardo:
Consultant & Facilitator Kyle J. Pardo has over 13 years experience as a Human Resources professional. Throughout her training career, Kyle has delivered programs to employees in the insurance, education, food service, transportation, manufacturing, and banking industries. The program topics have included customer service, front-line leadership, developing a compensation program, performance management, and HR basics. In addition to training, Kyle has several years of experience handling employee relations issues, recruitment, and managing compensation and benefits programs. Prior to beginning her consulting and facilitation practice Kyle’s experience included human resources positions in insurance, restaurant franchise, and education. Kyle’s most recent corporate position was Director of Corporate Human Resources for a national education management firm. Kyle’s primary focus in her training and development practice includes Leadership Development and Coaching, Performance Management Process, Human Resources Basics and Customer Service. Kyle holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from College of the Holy Cross and her Masters degree in Human Resources Management from Emmanuel College.
Since 1980 Syntax has been producing writing workshops and consulting on communications strategy for corporate clients in the financial, retail, health care, and technology industries. Over that time Syntax writing training has been consistently successful because it is —more than anything else—practical. The goal is to show workshop participants how to concentrate on what really matters in workplace communication: delivering significant information, clearly. Syntax courses show participants how to beat the practical writing problems they face on the job every day: how to develop content, say what they mean, and edit to make sense. They learn writing systems that increase their clarity, speed and confidence. They learn, to simplify the writing process, take the stress out of it, and develop a feeling for straight-ahead readability. The object is better use of management time, increased productivity, and clearer communications that result in better-informed decisions.
